Guardian Pipeline L.L.C. provides competitive natural gas transportation service from its hub near Joliet, Ill., to markets in southern Wisconsin. The 142-mile pipeline from Joliet to Ixonia, Wis., has 750,000 Dth/d capacity, which is 98-percent subscribed. Guardian Pipeline is a partnership of three Midwest energy companies: Wisconsin Energy Corporation, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis.; WPS Resources Corporation, headquartered in Green Bay, Wis.; and Viking Gas Transmission, a subsidiary of Northern Border Partners, L.P., headquartered in Omaha, Neb.

Guardian Pipeline is committed to meeting the natural gas needs of Wisconsin to help sustain and grow the state’s economic development.
